How to Use Garden Fabric

Garden fabric is a felted cloth made from sheep wool that can be widely used in gardening instead of films and other synthetic materials. Advantages of wool fabric:

  • Biodegradable and eco-friendly: Does not pollute the environment.
  • Breathable material: Ensures air circulation to the plant roots.
  • Moisture retention: Maintains even moisture while allowing water to pass through during watering and rain.
  • Temperature regulation: Helps keep the bed temperature stable.

How to Install Garden Fabric:

  1. Preparation: Lay the garden fabric on a prepared and fertilized open field bed or container.

  2. Securing: Secure the edges of the fabric with wooden stakes or bury the edge slightly in the soil. In container cultivation, easily press the fabric edge between the container and the soil.

  3. Cutting holes: Cut suitable holes in the fabric for planting.

  4. Watering: Water the planted crops and wait for the results.

Where to Use Garden Fabric:

The garden fabric is suitable for use wherever mulching is needed. It has been successfully used for:

  • Growing cucumbers, strawberries, blueberries, and herbs in open fields.
  • For young trees and shrubs, we recommend using our mulch discs.

Maintenance:

If you install the garden fabric in a place for annual plants, you can collect it in the fall. Store it in a dry place for ventilation, and it will be ready for use next year.
