Uuringu Projekt: Biolagunev Geotekstiil Lambavillast ja Jääkmaterjalidest

Research Project: Biodegradable Geotextile from Sheep Wool and Residual Materials

Project Overview

The goal is to explore the potential use of local untreated sheep wool waste and other agricultural or used cotton textile residues for producing biodegradable geotextiles. These geotextiles can be used in forestry and agriculture.

Project Outcomes

The research focuses on the durability of biodegradable geotextile test products, their stability on the planned soil, and their biodegradation. Laboratory experiments and testing are also included in the project.

Project Funding

The project is supported by the Estonian state budget, with a funding amount of €210,000.
