Natural incl. application study of biodegradable geotextile using waste materials as binding fiber and its manufacturing technology
The aim of the project is to investigate the possible use of local unprocessed sheep wool waste and other agricultural waste or used cotton textile waste for the production of so-called biodegradable geotextiles that can be used in forestry and agriculture.
The results of the project are a study of the co-persistence and planned persistence on the soil and biodegradation on the soil of the biodegradable geotextile test products, as well as laboratory testing and testing.
The project is supported from the funds of the Estonian state budget.
